Group of Begonias in Pots. No hanging containers or any other plant material will be permitted.  To be staged for effect. A bench space of 1.2m wide by 1.2m deep will be provided. Exhibitors may provide their own tiering.
One or two members can enter jointly. Points to be shared.

Novice Classes A Novice is someone who has not won more than 5 first prizes at NBS shows prior to the current season.

Awards
The Taylor Batty Trophy and Silver Card will be awarded to the Best Exhibit in the Show.
The Joe Mallon Trophy and Silver Card will be awarded to the winner of Class1.
The Colin Whewell Trophy and Silver Card will be awarded to the winner of Class 4.
The Jeff Rhodes Trophy and Silver Card will be awarded to the winner of Class 10.
The NBS Bronze Medal and rosette will be awarded to the best pot of begonia in the show.
The NBS Bronze Medal and rosette will be awarded to the best cut bloom in the show.

Regulations
Judging will be according to NBS rules.
Entries must be made on an official entry form and handed to the Show Secretary at the show between 9am and 11.30am.
Staging must be completed and all surplus plant material, packing material etc. removed by 12.15pm when judging will commence.
Boards will be provided for the cut bloom classes, but exhibitors may use their own which must comply with NBS rules. Adhesive labels must not be stuck on the boards; Exhibitors must use the NBS name sheets provided.
No unauthorised person will be admitted into the hall whilst judging is in progress.
Judges’ decision is final, any protest must be lodged in writing with the Show Secretary by 3.00pm.

There will be no limit to the number of entries and prizes won by any exhibitor in any class.
With exception to class12, plants in the Pot Plant Classes should not be "staged for effect" they will be judged as individual Pot Plants.
Plants in the Pot Plant Classes may be raised up off the staging provided, using unobtrusive supporting objects, but only to ensure that the foliage can rest safely clear of the staging or to balance the exhibit.
No external embellishments such as cloth around the pots will be permitted.

All Exhibits must carry an Exhibitors Card, and must be correctly named. If unknown this must be stated "UNKNOWN"
Any plant showing disease or pest infestation will be removed from the show.

The organisers of the show will make careful arrangements for the protection of all exhibits but cannot be answerable or responsible for any loss or damage to exhibits.
No exhibit or part-exhibit may be removed without authority from the Show Secretary until 4pm.
All trophies are PERPETUAL and must be returned to the Show Secretary 14 days before the next annual show.
