I have only been a member of the NBS for a year now, and through the
		Society and the very helpful
		 members
nationally, have learned a good deal and made the obligatory mistakes,
such is the learning curve. My
greenhouse is 14' by 8', and is full of
begonias, I am very pleased with my last year's efforts, now that I am
retired, it seems to fill my days - always something to do in it, and I
		thought women were demanding!!!!

Perhaps some other novices like me would take heart that we cannot
all be as good as Dave Staines (and he sure is good).  As Ian
Rhys Williams said to me, we all have to start  somewhere, it's
making that start that leads to experience.

I enjoy the web pages of the
Society and spend a lot of time browsing the various categories, as I do
the bulletin.  Thank you for making all the information available, thanks
also to the members who contribute to make beginners like myself more
		enlightened.
