Entries
for the Show were about the same as last year, although many showed signs
of the very difficult growing conditions recently.
On the first morning it rained torrents and the roof of the marquee
leaked onto an already soggy floor.
Main award winners were Dennis
Hague with the best bloom, and Vincent Potts who won best pot with
his specie entry in the one pot specie, one pot tuberous class. Six pots
was won by Dennis Sweeney and Six cut blooms by Bob Bryce.
