The Show attracted a record entry of 143, with all classes being well
supported.   It was particularly pleasing to see so many entries
in the Novice and Intermediate Classes.

For a second time an Intermediate achieved a major award, with Paul Lakin
winning the best pot in the show with an excellent Sadie Ramsay.
Stan Jenner won the 6 and 3 pot classes and Alan Harris won the 6 and 3
bloom classes.  The best exhibit in the show was again won by Dave
Hall and Tony Reynolds for a superb display of foliage begonias in the
4'x4' class.  We had a new trophy this year for the best exhibit by a lady,
and this was won by Ann Lever for her exhibit in the 4'x4' display class,
which attracted 6 entries.  The thanks of everyone once again go to
John Taylor and his daughter Wendy
        for their
tremendous work and organisation in making run so smoothly.
