BEGONIAS AND AURICULAS

   I grow and exhibit both these beautiful groups of flowers - which are compatible with each other.  When one is removed from the greenhouses in their dormancy period - the other requires the room and bench space.
  The Begonias are started up in January and require the whole of my greenhouse space from May to October.  The Auriculas are in my frames during this period.
   I am the Editor, Judge and a Floral Committee member of the National Begonia Society.  We publish four bulletins a year which are full of cultural information.  We have shows from Southsea to Southport commencing in July.  We have district meetings throughout the country, with slide talks and where plants may be purchased.  The National Show is at Kings Heath Park, Birmingham on the first Saturday and Sunday in September.
