A Visit to John & Mairi Hamilton's
Greenhouses

as always was on my annual visit to see the wares of Britian's best
begonia grower,
this year accompanied by my good wife Joan.
This year was quite exceptional with
undoubtedly the best pots I had ever seen. All the pots had heads of
flowers 2 - 3 ft across. The cut blooms were across 10 inch plates and
nice and deep. The only problem was that many of the blooms had gone
past and John was hoping that what he had would hold. There were 3
excellent seedlings with one, all being well, destined for the British
Championship board at Dundee. It was shaping up to be a corker!
All in all an excellent display and great hospitality thank you John and
Mairi.
