As the pictures show we had a good show in Bideford on 17^th August for the South West Show of the NBS. With it being a week after the National Show it had left us a bit short on stock to fill the benches and indeed many exhibitors had suffered from the hot weeks prior to the show.
   Despite this it looked good and there were some really good plants and blooms from the South West and South Wales growers. With myself being at Shrewsbury or working on the National Show for practically a week my own plants had suffered and it meant I couldn’t stage more than just a few classes, where I would normally cover all the pot classes and a display.
   At present next year’s date is set for Sunday 23^rd August, between the National and South Wales but it will clash with some other shows in the area. We hope this won’t affect next years entries.
