they wish. No begonias in baskets and no other plant material will be
permitted.

Awards
The Joe Mallon Trophy and Silver Card will be awarded to the winner of
Class1.
The Colin Whewell Trophy and Silver Card will be awarded to the winner of
Class 2.
The
NBS Bronze Medal and rosette will be awarded to the best pot of begonia
in the show.
The NBS Bronze Medal and rosette will be awarded to the best cut bloom in the
show.
Regulations
Entries must be made on an official entry form and handed to the show
secretary at the show between 9am and 11.30am on Saturday 28th
July.
Staging must be completed and all surplus plant material, packing
material etc. be removed by 12.15pm when judging will commence.
Boards will be provided for the cut bloom classes, but exhibitors may
use their own which must comply with NBS rules. Adhesive labels must not
be stuck on the boards; Exhibitors should use the NBS name sheets
provided.
Judging will be according to NBS rules.
Plants in the Pot
Plant Classes should not be “staged for effect” they will be judged as
individual Pot Plants.
All Exhibits must be correctly named where possible.
Any Exhibit on which the correct Exhibit Card is not clearly visible
will be disqualified.
No unauthorised person
will be admitted into the hall whilst judging is in progress.
Judges’ decision is final - any protest must be lodged in writing with
the Show Secretary by 4.00pm on Saturday 28th July.
There will be no
limit to the number of entries and prizes won by any exhibitor in any
class.
The organisers of
the show will make careful arrangements for the protection of all
exhibits but cannot be answerable or responsible for any loss or damage
to exhibits.
No exhibit or part-exhibit may be removed until 4pm Saturday 28th
July.
The Colin Whewell and Joe Mallon trophies are PERPETUAL and must be
returned to the Show Secretary 14 days before the next annual show.
