This show held
over the second weekend of June is a first opportunity for Lakin
Earl to show his prowess.
Right on his
doorstep, he starts a couple of tubers off in his airing cupboard
over Christmas to make this early date. Lakin has struggled this
year like most of us but these early flowers fly the flag for
begonias.
Here are this
years exhibits, which made a contrasting splash of colour to the
rose and sweat peas. By the way, his peas took pride of place in the
vegetable class!
