This was our 37^th. Area Show and the 5^th.in a hall as opposed to the now defunct Southsea Show where we originated way back in 1973. For the first time we had 5 entries in the Twelve Cut-bloom Class. The new Class for 3 Pots other than Large Flowered Tuberous Double attracted 3 entries and was won by south West Area Representative Gary Dando. Dave Coates proved himself a true Champion yet again by virtually sweeping the board in the Open Classes. The only downside again this year was the small number of Intermediate and Novice entries.
