1 week to go and things still look a little slow and need a
bit more sun. Still have a few blooms left over from the Havant show (A,
B, & C) Anniversary, Can Can & Mrs E McLaughlan that now look
ok and will have to see if they last a bit longer.
The shade house is
looking full of colour (D & E) might
even turn the fans down to see if that will bring the blooms on a bit.
Have my doubts on the fans and really think some bright days would be
more helpful. A few blooms look promising this Tom Brownlee (F)
is fast becoming a banker for me and a must have more stock.
The
greenhouse is way behind with only half a dozen blooms anywhere near
(G
& H), it's still apparent that I have a few timing issues but
do feel that my growing has improved, slowly getting together the right
varieties as well will help in the future. The only thing left now is to
hopefully have enough blooms to be able to get my entry in by Tuesday. |
